The Jae Foundation
The Jae Foundation is a local organization that provides mental health awareness. The founder has a personal story about losing his brother to suicide. His brother wore cowboy boots wherever he went, so they had what's called a boot check. You get a pair of boots, and whenever you look at them, it's a reminder to check on someone you love. Dr. Funk took us here; he got us all a pair of boots, and they spoke to us about mental health.
