Invisalign® Clear Aligners in Twin Falls, ID
Invisalign® clear aligners offer a subtle and efficient solution for orthodontic care, serving as an excellent option compared to traditional metal braces. These aligners are designed to be worn over the teeth, gently modifying the spacing and alignment over time. Patients transition to a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, each one progressively moving the teeth closer to their desired arrangement.
Invisalign® aligners are tailored specifically for you, crafted from digital impressions of your teeth to ensure precise control over the straightening process. The Invisalign® ClinCheck system enables us to map out each phase of your treatment from start to finish, allowing you to preview the ultimate results you can expect.
How Much Does Invisalign® Cost?
Many insurance policies cover the cost of Invisalign® aligners, just as traditional metal braces. The total cost of Invisalign® treatment depends on how long it takes you to finish the process, which is determined by the extent of correction your teeth need. At our Twin Falls office, the typical price for our comprehensive Invisalign® treatment is $5,500.

Comprehensive orthodontic solutions for kids and adults
Expansion with Fixed Appliances (for kids)
Expanders are a fixed orthodontic appliance that expands the jaws, straightens, and repositions teeth. Additionally, they may improve dental conditions such as upper and/or lower arch construction, crossbites, and crooked teeth. Appliances may be used in patients as early as four years of age and older. The appliance is designed to be worn fixed in the patient's mouth. The patient is responsible for turning a key to activate the movement of the appliance. This is a gradual process that will reposition and straighten the teeth, and expand the jaws.
Guided Growth (for kids)
Our Guided Growth and Development program is a non-invasive and non-pharmaceutical way to help address oral health issues by fitting your child with a special mouth guide, which is similar to a mouthguard. Children wear this appliance while sleeping and this can help improve their oral habits, help them to breathe through their nose, and expand the jaw to create room for their teeth. Your child’s treatment will vary depending on their symptoms. This treatment is sometimes done in conjunction with expanders.
Appliance Therapy (for adults)
Appliance therapy for adults is used for treating patients with airway issues. There are a couple different types of devices used for this treatment. They are used as a way to permanently correct sleep apnea reduce snoring, straighten your teeth, and alleviate symptoms of TMJ disorder. The Appliances work by widening the arches and the nasal passages, allowing more airflow to pass through. This Appliance Therapy will gently expand the jaws and help to remodel the upper airway, allowing the shifting teeth into a more natural position. Often times this therapy is done in conjunction with Invisalign.
Common Questions About Invisalign®
-
How long does Invisalign® take?
Invisalign® treatment length depends on how much work needs to be done on your teeth and how regularly you wear your aligners. Most patients wear a set of trays for two weeks at a time for approximately two years. More minor corrections will take less time. The only way to be sure of the length of time necessary is to schedule a consultation.
-
Who is eligible for Invisalign®?
Invisalign® is designed for teens and adults who need mild to moderate orthodontic corrections. Invisalign® is an excellent orthodontic treatment for bite corrections and gap teeth.
Anyone with adult teeth can get Invisalign®. Patients appreciate Invisalign® because you can get it without the stigma or self-consciousness of wearing metal braces.
There is no upper age limit for Invisalign®. People of all ages, who have adult teeth, are able to get Invisalign®. Many people find Invisalign® appealing because it lets adults receive orthodontic treatment without any of the stigma or self-consciousness associated with wearing metal braces. This is just as true for someone in their 20’s as in their 60’s.
-
Invisalign® vs. braces—what's the difference?
Invisalign® aligners and traditional metal braces differ significantly in their design and convenience. Invisalign® is made from clear, transparent plastic, making it less visible, and can be easily removed by the wearer, allowing for greater flexibility in eating and oral hygiene. In contrast, metal braces consist of visible wires and brackets and require professional removal, often leading to dietary restrictions and a higher risk of mouth injuries due to their sharp edges.
-
Does Invisalign® hurt?
Invisalign® typically causes less discomfort than traditional metal braces. While patients may experience mild pressure and temporary discomfort each time a new set of aligners is introduced, this sensation usually subsides within a few days. The smooth, plastic design of Invisalign® aligners also minimizes the irritation to the gums and cheeks often associated with the sharp edges of metal braces.
We recommend putting in your new aligner set at night so that you can sleep through the initial discomfort of a new aligner set.
